Biography Tatjana Lazović
Dr. Tatjana Lazović is a full professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University
of Belgrade. After completing her studies in mechanical engineering, in 1990, she started
working as a researcher and constructor in the Research and Development Sector of the
Precision Mechanics Industry (IPM) – Belgrade. Since 1995, she has been working at the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, in the Department of Machine
Design. She teaches Machine Elements 1 and Machine Elements 2 (Bachelor Academic
Studies), Practicum of Machine Design Fundamentals (Master’s Academic Studies), as well
as Special Chapters on Mechanical Elements and Tribology of Mechanical Elements
(Doctoral Academic Studies). Dr. Lazović is the head of the Laboratory for Mechanical
Elements at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. She actively collaborates
with the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, serving as the president of the Committee for
Technical Drawings, Tolerances, Gears, Bearings, and Fasteners. Additionally, she is a
member of the Committee for Machine Safety and a member of the Committee for Additive
Manufacturing. Dr. Lazović is a member of the Association for Design, Elements, and
Constructions – ADEKO, the Society for the Integrity and Life of Constructions, and the
steering committee of the ALUMNI Foundation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,
University of Belgrade. She actively participates in scientific and innovation research at both
national and international levels and has authored numerous articles in national and
international scientific journals. Dr. Lazović has also contributed to proceedings at national
and international conferences. Furthermore, she has authored two scientific monographs, two
taskbooks for students of mechanical engineering, and one textbook for vocational high
schools. T. Also, she is the author, organizer, and lecturer of several seminars and workshops
on lifelong education and professional development for industry employees and teachers in
vocational high schools.
